Australia, where I spoke to the Royal Australian Air Force, combat veterans with a true strategic outlook and a wary eye on China.
Professional Passion:
Director, General William Mitchell Institute for Airpower Studies. The Air Force Association set up this new research arm in 2008 and I serve as its Director. Our main task right now is publishing high-quality research on all aspects of airpower: air, space and cyber.
